2nd Anniversary Successful
Thank God for making us two years. At least over these years, we have had the privilege to conduct trainings and undertook a cleaning
up campaign project. Won’t say, there wasn’t any challenge. But those
challenges help us to press on and look at the goals and future of TFL.
Again the
journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. As you know at technology forum, we are more
into sharing ideas and youth empowerment. Yesterday mark another milestone in
our lives as a group and local organization.
We had a wonderful time celebrating. It all went just as
we anticipated. Our guest speaker a supporter of TFL Lawson Noah Ziah spoke on
the topic THE BENEFITS OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN TODAY’S ECONOMY. How we as
youth can benefit a lot and become better entrepreneurs to help mama Liberia.
We
were able to give four persons some responsibilities base on their commitment and
hard work to Technology Forum. These guys have demonstrated hard work and diligence
towards TFL .They were;
Georgenita B. Richards- Acting Financial Secretary
Dorbor Richard- Acting Secretary
Sean Moses Yates- Acting Assistant Secretary
Karmoh S. Dolleh- Acting Director/PRO
Thanks to all who participated in the ceremony and left
their busy schedule to celebrate with us. We also want to a say a big thank you
to the management of GOD OF MERCY SCHOOL for allowing us use their facilities,
whenever we asked. If it wasn’t for them, TFL won’t have reached the level we
are at. These guys have shown their passion for education and information
technology.
To show that we truly had a great time and enjoyed ourselves yesterday.
Please see these photos below. It was called the recreational hour. As the
saying goes “all work no play make Jack a dull boy”. We had games like checker,
Ludu, chess etc. T.F.L is open to receiving gifts and donation of any kind. As
of now we have no sponsor and standalone. If you would love to be part of the
vision of change and help more Liberians obtain some skills for a better
Liberia please join us. Sharing is caring, together we can make a big difference.
